Exclusive preview and tips for the 2017 Supreme Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival brought to you by the team at Star Sports.

The traditional curtain raiser of the Cheltenham Festival and listen out for the famous roar from the stands. Nicky Henderson stopped the Willie Mullins domination of this race in 2016 when his Altior won. Prior to that Willie Mullins won three in a row with the exceptional Douvan in 2015, Vautour in 2014 and Champagne Fever in 2013. This year the chief Mullins representative is Melon – the ex-French trained runner made a 10 length winning debut at Leopardstown in January. Moon Racer won the Champion Bumper here in 2015 and represents David Pipe whilst Charli Parcs looked very useful when winning at Kempton on his debut over Christmas.
