The 7 year old is the odds on favourite for Racing Post Arkle glory at Cheltenham. Altior has followed a similar route to the Arkle as Sprinter Sacre in 2011-12, winning the Wayward Lad with a Racing Post rating of 167 (Sprinter Sacre recorded 162) and the Game Spirit with 175 (Sprinter Sacre 171).
